Jill N. Lombardo is the Executive Director of Rural Development Corporation, a leadership role she has held since 2022. In this capacity, she oversees the Southern Regional Food Distribution Center and the Cumberland Family Shelter, ensuring these programs deliver reliable, compassionate support to individuals and families in need.

Before joining Rural Development Corporation, Jill served as the former Director of the Center for Leadership, Community and Neighborhood Development where she launched community-focused initiatives including Leadership Cumberland County and the Neighborhood Leadership Institute, which cultivate local leadership and strengthen nonprofit collaboration.

Jill brings extensive experience from regional, national, and international nonprofit work, pairing strategic program development with a deep commitment to community impact. She has also contributed to higher education as an adjunct professor for more than twenty years, bringing practical business expertise to her students. Jill also served as a nonprofit consultant, providing guidance to organizations seeking to grow capacity, strengthen partnerships, and improve outcomes.

Her service extends beyond direct program leadership through previous and current involvement in a wide range of professional, civic, and nonprofit boards.

Jill earned her MPA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a graduate of Leadership New Jersey. This year she celebrates twenty years of marriage to Joseph and is a proud mom to their son Nicholas.
